TERRY HIMEBOOK

Terry has previously worked as the music teacher at Westminster Christian Academy, Huntsville, AL, and as a music director at multiple PCA churches across the Southeast. He is an accomplished trombonist, has participated in numerous musical groups, and was the orchestrator for the Trinity Hymnal. Terry is a graduate of Covenant College, Lookout Mountain, GA. Terry and Ruth have four grown children and five grandchildren.

RUTH HIMEBOOK

Chorale Accompanist
Director of K - 1st Music Class
Director of 2nd - 5th Music Class

Ruth Himebook began formal piano lessons at age four. When she was 15, she was the pianist for the Atlanta Youth Symphony. Ruth holds a BA in Music Education, with an emphasis in piano performance. She also has had instruction at the Master’s level. She was the accompanist for the Eugene Brasher Chorale; the Huntsville Community Children’s Chorus; the Covenant College Chorale; Westminster Christian Academy Choir; numerous Private / Public School choirs and competitions; and accompanies University students. Ruth has taught music education and choir in the classroom for over 20 years. She has been the Choral Director at The Village at Germantown for over 8 years, and has been a church pianist for over 35 years.

ANDREW COOK

Andrew Cook has been with TSH for three years. He has just completed his BM of Music Education at the U of M. Mr. Cook is also the Minister of Music at Whitten Memorial Baptist Church.

MARY LOVE COOK

Co-Director of Concert Choir
Director of Flute Choir

Mary Love Cook received her Bachelors in Music Performance from the University of Memphis. During her study at the university, she placed first in the Beethoven’s Club Young Artist Competition Senior Division and was a winner of the U of M Concerto competition, both on solo flute. She currently teaches private woodwind lessons in the greater Memphis area.
